DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Anthony M.K. Vinnedge, 24, of Okeana, Ohio, died July 5 at the Radwaniyah Palace Complex, Iraq, of injuries suffered from a non-combat related incident. The incident is under investigation.

Vinnedge was assigned to Troop C, 2nd Squadron, 107th Armor Cavalry Regiment, Ohio Army National Guard, Greenville, Ohio. For more information related to this release the media may contact the Ohio National Guard public affairs office at (614) 336-7126.
